Snow

Released!
Snow for Tiki 1.9 or older can now be downloaded at themes.tikiwiki.org. Snow for Tiki 1.10 is under construction.

Snow theme was originally table-based but has been redone for Tiki 1.10 using the *litecss method.

This theme was inspired by the Mtechnik_Xmas PostNuke theme, but all the graphics are original (if you look closely but not too critically, the snowflake "arms" are — somewhat overlapping — a t-i-k-i from perimeter to center), and virtually all design details are new.

Flash topbar

The Snow theme includes a jpeg topbar image (and maybe Photoshop source), and Flash (.fla) source for the snowfall effect (not implemented yet in the Tiki 1.10 version).

The Flash file is from Flashkit.com (cache) where the description says to "use freely". I resized the .fla document, removed the button, and replaced the background image. Along with a generic .swf file, the .fla file will be included with the theme so a personalized Flash movie can be made.

Status

The version for TikiWiki 1.9 can be downloaded from themes.tikiwiki.org. The Tiki 1.10 version is essentially done and I'm updating it in step with Tiki 1.10 beta. It'll be available soon.

Content one

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
